The Calendar Address Isnt in Ical Format Check the Url and Try Importing Again

Hey there,
I have Events Agenda, Events Calendar Pro & iCal Importer set up upwards on my website and have tested a recurring import on events from an iCal address (from Google Calendar). It seems to be importing nigh data aside from events that have 'All Day' assigned to them in Google (checkbox ticked).
I've tried searching for this every bit an event that can be resolved and am of course open to this possibly being a user error on my function, but would greatly appreciate some assistance re this.
Here'south an example from the iCal file an outcome that isn't importing:-

Hi,

Thank you for using our plugins. I tin can aid troubleshoot on this.

I did a quick examination and created an Result in gCal and was able to come across the All Day Issue I created to import it.

This was not a recurring import so that peradventure why.

If you try a ane time import does the event show so to import?

Could you lot share the ical link in a private reply and the name of an event not show and I tin can test on my cease.

Thanks for proving the information.

Information technology appears there is a issues hither.

I am able to import the All Mean solar day Effect from Higher up.

However, it comes in with the start date of: 1969-12-31.

If you expect in your events did it import with that appointment as well?

I tried on two other all day events and they did the same for me as well.

I have created a ticket for us to address this issue.

Allow me know what you find out about that event and if you see the same fourth dimension in your system for it.

Hello Brian,
Alas at present when I try to import the data from the ICS file (using the accost I sent in my private reply) I go nada coming back from the search to import at all???
Yesterday in an attempt to endeavour and re-import the data from the ICS file I first deleted all event data from the TEC plugin – since then I get zippo when I effort to import from the ical url. Even when I download the ics file to my PC and then import it that way I get nothing.
Humph.
Delight assistance – I don't *retrieve* I'm doing anything particularly wrong?

Hi,

I was able import all the events without issue.

There coding in the iCal Importer that detects if you deleted an event in your install and then does not reimport it. So I believe that is what y'all are running into.

Have yous deleted and emptied the trash with the events?

Are yous trying a in one case import or a recurring import once more?

Hi Brian, sorry about the delay in getting back to yous – other projects getting in the way.
And so – post-obit the initial import I then deleted and emptied the trash and so there are no events in the calendar. Every fourth dimension I effort to and then re-import the events (so step 1 – hit the search push button with nil selected or changed in terms of the 'Refine results'), whether it'south a one time OR a recurring import I but get 'Your search returned no results. Please adjust your search.' message… So no luck here….
Does this mean I can't now import this calendar at all??

Hi,

I call back there is a style around this.

Although all the events were deleted. They still remain in the database and so when the importer is checking for events it observe them there.

You tin can apply a plugin such every bit Adminer:

To go into the database and delete all the trashed events and then you should be able to import again.

Open up Adminer Miner

Go to the Posts Table

Click Select, then search

Alter Anywhere dropdown to post condition

Enter trash in the search field

Click Select

Cheque all the ones you want to delete and and so click delete on the bottom of the page

Post-obit those steps I was able to reimport everything.

Where yous always able to correct the 1969 effect for All Day Events? I am seeing a similar issue with my Event Calendar trying to import a Google Calendar.

Hey Brian,
Having a few bug with Adminer (though I call back it may accept been server performance related). Likewise having bug being able to spend time on this equally I have another project with tighter deadlines… and one in fact that I have some other TEC event with that I'grand going to start a new thread about.
Will exist back on here re this issue once I have done as y'all have suggested by the way.

Hi,

If you are having issues with Adminer, you can get into PHPMYAdmin from your hosting and do it in that location. This was simply a fashion effectually doing that.

And glad my response helped for the other issue. Look for a ameliorate solution to that in the side by side release to fix it for good hopefully.

I establish a plugin that might assistance hither instead of going into the database.

This plugin can completely remove trashed posts and events in the database:

Optimize Database subsequently Deleting Revisions

It does not practise it by default, but there is a setting to Delete Trashed Items.

Before using that plugin it would exist a practiced idea to backup your database just in instance something goes incorrect.
